اين دوره در ادامه دوره قبلي و به جهت افزايش ميزان داده هاي زباني طراحي شده است تا دانش آموز بیشتر از قبل در معرض زبان انگلیسی قرار بگیرد و دامنه یادگیری واژگانی و ساختاری خود را به صورت شفاهی بسط دهد و با توجه به اينكه هنوز مهارت نوشتن و خواندن را نياموخته است ، راحت تر به مرحله بعدي ورود خواهد كرد . اين تقريبا همان رويدادي است كه در زبان اصلي و مادري فرد هم رخ مي دهد . كودك مدتي طولاني فقط درون داد دريافت مي كند وپس از مدتي مفهوم سازي مي كند و شروع به سخن گفتن مي نمايد .البته اين قياس فقط از نقطه نظر ميزان درون داد مطرح شد و مبناي اتخاذ سياست آموزشي اين دوره نبوده است .از سوي ديگر اين سري هماهنگي كامل با دوره بعدي دارد و هم چنين زبان آموز را از نظر رشد سني به شرايط مطلوب تري مي رساند . در اين دوره هم هنوز نگاه آموزشی به مقوله writing ‚ reading نشده است . لذا از زبان آموز انتظار نمي رود وارد اين مهارتها بشود .
اين سري با كتب Big Fun تنظيم شده است و در كل نه ترم مي باشد .

پس از ترم نهم از CH15 تا CH10 مشابه چارت قبلي به آموزش مستقيم الفبا و مهارتهاي خواندن و نوشتن پرداخته مي شود و پيش بيني مي شود خيلي سريع و موثرتر به بحث مفهوم سازي و آموزش سيستماتيك ورود پيدا كنيم چون زبان آموز در سطح آمادگي بسيار بالاتري قرار دارد .اين دوره هم با سری كتابهاي First Friends به شرح ذيل تنظيم و مرتب شده است .
